in 1999 and helped to get the GCLC off the ground. In its first year
CMCC hosted less than 20 vehicles. Since then it has become one of the
biggest club-organized gatherings on the East Coast. Recent events have
seen over 70 vehicles with 120 plus participants. The event has always
been family oriented and many folks bring their entire family along.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
|
|
At the start of every day vehicles are separated into groups of 8-12 rigs, each based on
trail difficulty.
|
|
Participants who attend CMCC come from all walks of life and
are some of the nicest people youll ever meet. CMCC has hosted
families from MD, NY, MA, CT, VA, PA, NH, VT, OH, CO, KS and
NJ, and Canada, business executives, NASA scientists;
college students, computer programmers, filmmakers, engineers,
and, we are honored to say, a number of police officers, firefighters
and EMT personel.
|
|
With every day's trail ride comes new adventures. If you do encounter an obstacle on the
trail that you are not comfortable with there are often bypasses available. If you think your
first day of trails was too difficult or not difficult enough you can switch to a group
that suits you better. After a long day on the trail it's nice to arrive back in camp to see friendly
faces. You'll spend evenings relaxing. Most folks kick back around the glow of a warm campfire
in the fresh Pennsylvania air exchanging tales (tall and otherwise) of the day's excitement. |
Saturday night is the the awesome catered barbecue at Echo Valley:
Menu to be determined.
|
|
It's bigger and better than ever! With everything the event has
to offer we are confident youll enjoy your experience both
on and off the trail.
|
| |
|
SEE YOU THERE!
