Passing your driving test really is a massive achievement and once you've managed to buy your first set of wheels, then things will really start rocking! Suddenly the whole world is your oyster; you can go anywhere, do anything and even take your friends along for the ride.

So, now that you are a legal UK driver, how about organising a ‘once in a lifetime’ road-trip? You could find yourself a cheap camper van and then head off with some of your pals on the old ‘Hippy Trail’! And don't go thinking that this idea is out-dated either... Remember; ‘retro’ is now officially the new black!!!

Just think about some of those uber-cool road-movies you’ve seen; beautiful sunny days, an endless stretch of highway and a psychotic blond-haired hitch-hiker on the loose... Well, maybe not that type of film, but I’m sure you get the general idea. A journey by van through foreign climes could be a whole lot of fun and there are bound to be some amazing sights to see!

It may be a cool journey to go on, but knowing that your mum and dad made exactly the same trip forty years ago can throw a wet blanket over the whole affair!
